Varying sized, easy access, level sites. Each varying in size that would be suitable from 1 tent to 8 vans. (We will give you a site to suit your needs)

Our campground is part of a working farm, many beef cattle to be seen.

Winter:

Enjoy a frolic in the snow on the Campsite’s surrounding hills.

The camp site is a short drive from Hartz Mountains National Park where you can take short strolls out to the glacial lakes in the area, or try the more challenging walks up to the highest peak of Hartz mountain (1255 m).

Close to Hartz Mountains is the Tahune Air Walk where you can walk through the three-storey high canopy of a Tasmanian forest to the end where you stand 48 metres above the ground and can view the majestic meeting of the Huon and Picton rivers. The Tahune forest also has a variety of walks of varying difficulties, the most popular being the Huon Pine Track where you can walk amongst 2000 year old giant Huon Pines.

A bit further to the south you will find the Hastings Caves State Reserve Where you can enjoy a guided tour of Newdegate Cave and a dip in the thermal springs.

With Huonville a short drive away and Cygnet and Franklin nearby, you can enjoy Tasmania's finest produce cooked fresh in great restaurants and cafes and even tour the local vineyards sampling some of the best wine Tasmania has to offer!
